Norwegian Fjord Line is in 2013 sailing between Hirtshals and Kristiansand in Norway from the 16th of May 2013 to the 1st of September 2013. Fjord Line is competing with the other operator on the route Color Line. Fjord Line is using a catamaran ferry, which crosses Skagarak in only 2 hours and 15 minutes – compared to the 3 hours and 15 minutes when travelling with Color Line.

Fjord Line is sailing two double tours each day from the 16th of May until 20th of June and again from the 19th of August until the 1st of September, leaving Hirtshals at 11.45 am and 18.00. During the high season Fjord Line is sailing three daily double tours, leaving Hirtshals at 10.00 am, 17.00 and 23.30. The specific departure times will be shown when using the online booking.
The catamaran ferry Fjord Line Express on the Hirtshals-Kristiansand route offer three different types of lounges on board, Basic, Comfort or Comfort All Inclusive. Seats have to be reserved, when booking the ferry tickets. The lounges are equipped with fly chairs, no matter of class.
Besides the lounges on board, Fjord Line Express facilities also include a buffet restaurant and a café. It’s possible to shop on board in the tax free shop.
The rest of the year, from the beginning of September to the middle of May, Color Line is serving the Hirtshals and Kristiansand route with their SuperSpeed ferry, which also transport trucks and busses.
